Ibuproxam

Ibuproxam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used in the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as arthritis, gout, and menstrual pain. It is a derivative of ibuprofen, and works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.

Pharmacology

Ibuproxam works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. By blocking the action of COX, ibuproxam reduces the levels of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation and pain.

Uses

Ibuproxam is used to relieve pain and inflammation in a variety of conditions, including:

Side effects
