Joanne Liu
Joanne Liu is a Canadian pediatrician and a prominent figure in the field of global health. She is best known for her role as the International President of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, from 2013 to 2019.

Joanne Liu was born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. She completed her medical degree at the Université de Montréal and later specialized in pediatrics at McGill University. Liu also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard University.
