Josh Thomas (comedian)
Josh Thomas (born 26 May 1987) is an Australian comedian, actor, and television writer. He is best known for his stand-up comedy and his television series Please Like Me.

Josh Thomas was born in Blackwater, Queensland, Australia. He attended Kenmore State High School in Brisbane and later studied at the University of Queensland, where he pursued a degree in Creative Writing.

Stand-Up Comedy[edit | edit source]
Josh Thomas began his career in stand-up comedy at the age of 17. He gained recognition after winning the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Raw Comedy Award in 2005. His comedic style often includes personal anecdotes and observations about everyday life.
Television[edit | edit source]
Josh Thomas is best known for creating, writing, and starring in the television series Please Like Me. The show premiered in 2013 and ran for four seasons. It received critical acclaim for its portrayal of mental health, sexuality, and relationships.
In 2020, Thomas created another television series, Everything's Gonna Be Okay, which aired on Freeform. The show follows the life of a young man who becomes the guardian of his two half-sisters after their father's death.
