The Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) is a humanitarian organization and the national Red Cross society in Lebanon. It was established on July 9, 1945, and is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The Lebanese Red Cross was founded in 1945 by a group of Lebanese doctors and volunteers. It was officially recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1947 and became a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 1948.

The mission of the Lebanese Red Cross is to provide relief to victims of natural and man-made disasters, to promote health and social welfare, and to uphold the principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. These principles include humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
