Leila Araghian
Leila Araghian is an Iranian architect known for her innovative designs and contributions to contemporary architecture in Iran. She gained international recognition for her work on the Tabiat Bridge in Tehran, which has become a landmark in the city.

Leila Araghian was born in Tehran, Iran. She developed an interest in architecture at a young age. Araghian pursued her higher education in architecture at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She later completed her master's degree in architecture at the University of Tehran.

Araghian co-founded the architecture firm Diba Tensile Architecture in 2005. The firm specializes in the design and construction of tensile structures, which are lightweight and flexible architectural forms.
Tabiat Bridge[edit | edit source]
One of Araghian's most notable projects is the Tabiat Bridge, which was completed in 2014. The bridge spans 270 meters and connects two parks, Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park, over the Modarres Expressway in Tehran. The design of the bridge emphasizes pedestrian experience, with multiple levels and seating areas that encourage social interaction and leisure activities. The Tabiat Bridge has received numerous awards and accolades for its innovative design and has become a symbol of modern Tehran.
