As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 4,217. The village is a part of a larger network of retirement communities in the area, known for its peaceful environment and well-maintained facilities.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.133 square miles (2.934 km2), of which, 1.083 square miles (2.805 km2) of it is land and 0.050 square miles (0.129 km2) of it (4.41%) is water.
