Linus Sebastian
Linus Gabriel Sebastian (born August 20, 1986) is a Canadian YouTube personality, presenter, producer, and founder of Linus Media Group. He is best known for creating and hosting the technology-oriented YouTube channel Linus Tech Tips (LTT). Sebastian has also been involved in other channels such as Techquickie, Channel Super Fun, and ShortCircuit.

Linus Sebastian was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He developed an interest in technology at a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the field.

Early Career[edit | edit source]
Before founding Linus Media Group, Sebastian worked as a product manager for the now-defunct Canadian online computer store NCIX. During his time at NCIX, he was asked to create videos to help demonstrate products. This led to the creation of the NCIX Tech Tips YouTube channel in 2007.
Linus Media Group[edit | edit source]
In 2013, Sebastian founded Linus Media Group (LMG) and launched the Linus Tech Tips channel. The channel quickly gained popularity for its in-depth reviews, tutorials, and technology news. As of 2023, Linus Tech Tips has over 15 million subscribers and is one of the most-watched technology channels on YouTube.

Sebastian has expanded his content creation to include other channels such as Techquickie, which offers quick explanations of technology concepts, and Channel Super Fun, which features a variety of entertaining content. He also launched ShortCircuit, a channel focused on quick product reviews.

Linus Sebastian is married to Yvonne Ho, and they have three children. He is known for his humorous and approachable style, which has endeared him to a wide audience.
