Lisa Rani Ray (born 4 April 1972) is a Canadian actress, model, television host, philanthropist, and social activist. She is known for her work in Indian cinema, as well as her international projects.

Lisa Ray was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to a Bengali Indian father and a Polish mother. She spent her early years in Canada and later moved to India to pursue a career in modeling and acting.

Lisa Ray began her career as a model in the early 1990s. She gained prominence after appearing in a high-profile advertisement for Bombay Dyeing. Her striking looks and charisma quickly made her one of the most sought-after models in India.
