This is a list of notable LGBT rights activists who have made significant contributions to the LGBT community and the fight for LGBT rights.

- Alan Turing - A pioneering computer scientist and mathematician, Turing was also a victim of homophobia and posthumously became a symbol of the fight for LGBT rights.
- Audre Lorde - A poet, writer, and civil rights activist, Lorde was a prominent voice in the LGBT and feminist movements.

- Bayard Rustin - An advisor to Martin Luther King Jr., Rustin was a key figure in the civil rights movement and an advocate for gay rights.
