Lotte Confectionery
Lotte Confectionery is a confectionery corporation headquartered in South Korea. It was established in 1967 and is a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Lotte Corporation. The company produces a wide range of products, including chewing gum, candy, biscuits, chocolate, ice cream, and snacks.

Lotte Confectionery was founded by Shin Kyuk-ho, a Korean businessman who established the Lotte Corporation. The company began as a chewing gum manufacturer, introducing the first chewing gum in South Korea. Over the years, it expanded its product line to include a variety of confectionery items.

Lotte Confectionery's product line is diverse, ranging from sweets and snacks to ice cream and biscuits. Some of its most popular products include:
- Pepero: A chocolate-covered biscuit stick that is particularly popular on Pepero Day, a South Korean observance similar to Valentine's Day.
- Choco Pie: A snack cake consisting of two small round layers of cake with marshmallow filling and a chocolate covering.
- Kancho: Small round biscuits filled with chocolate.
- Ghana (chocolate): A brand of chocolate bars, named after the country Ghana, which is one of the world's largest cocoa producers.

Lotte Confectionery has a significant international presence, with manufacturing facilities in several countries, including China, Russia, and India. Its products are exported to over 70 countries worldwide.
