Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is a higher education institution in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, focusing on medical and health sciences. Established on 3rd June 1998 by the state government, the university aims to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in modern medicine and Indian systems of medicine in the state of Maharashtra.

MUHS was established to consolidate and coordinate the standards of medical education, including research, in the field of Health Sciences. Before its establishment, medical colleges in Maharashtra were affiliated with various universities within the state.
