Massey University (Māori: Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa) is a public research university located in New Zealand, with major campuses in Palmerston North, Wellington, and Auckland. It was established in 1927 and has grown to become one of New Zealand's largest universities, known for its research and teaching excellence.

Massey University was founded in 1927 as a small agricultural college in Palmerston North. It was named after former New Zealand Prime Minister William Massey.
