Milan Kujundžić
Milan Kujundžić (born April 27, 1957) is a Croatian physician and politician who has served in various capacities within the Croatian government. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Milan Kujundžić was born in Imotski, a town in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown before enrolling at the University of Zagreb's School of Medicine. Kujundžić graduated with a degree in medicine and later specialized in gastroenterology.
Medical Career[edit | edit source]
Kujundžić began his medical career at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, where he worked as a gastroenterologist. He has published numerous scientific papers and has been involved in various research projects related to gastroenterology. Kujundžić has also served as a professor at the University of Zagreb's School of Medicine.
Political Career[edit | edit source]
Milan Kujundžić entered politics as a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). He has held several significant positions within the Croatian government, including:
- Minister of Health: Kujundžić served as the Minister of Health from 2016 to 2020. During his tenure, he focused on healthcare reforms, improving the healthcare system, and addressing issues related to public health.
- Member of Parliament: Kujundžić has been elected as a member of the Croatian Parliament (Sabor) multiple times, representing the interests of his constituents and working on various legislative initiatives.
