Nantong University
Nantong University (NTU) is a comprehensive university located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. It was established in 1912 as a private medical college, making it one of the oldest higher education institutions in China. Over the years, NTU has evolved into a multidisciplinary university that encompasses a wide range of fields, including Engineering, Medicine, Liberal Arts, Management, Economics, Science, and Education.

Nantong University was originally founded as Nantong Medical College in 1912 by Zhang Jian, a renowned industrialist and educator in the late Qing Dynasty. In 2004, Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology, and Nantong Teachers College were merged to form the current Nantong University.
