Nature's Basket is an Indian gourmet grocery store chain, which is a subsidiary of the Spencer's Retail group. It was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The chain offers a wide range of products including fresh fruits and vegetables, international and Indian gourmet foods, organic foods, and health foods.

Nature's Basket was established in 2005 by the Godrej Group as a retail venture to cater to the growing demand for gourmet foods in India. In 2019, the company was acquired by Spencer's Retail, a part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.

Acquisition by Spencer's Retail[edit | edit source]

In May 2019, Spencer's Retail acquired Nature's Basket from the Godrej Group for a total consideration of ₹300 crore. This acquisition was aimed at expanding Spencer's footprint in the gourmet and premium food segment.
