The percent of people who are considered obese with a BMI of over 30 in New York-St. Lawrence County obesity, according to the 2013-2014 EBRFSS survey showed third of all adults were obese, several percentage points higher than the statewide average. Another third of adult residents were overweight.

St. Lawrence County is a county located in the upstate portion in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2010 census, the population was 111,944 and the county seat is Canton.
