Nilgiri tea

The tea plants are typically harvested twice a year, during the "first flush" in the spring and the "second flush" in the autumn. The leaves are hand-plucked and then processed using the CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) method, which results in a strong, full-bodied tea with a bright color and robust flavor.
