History[edit | edit source]
Putrajaya Hospital (HPj) is situated on a 27.2-acre area in Precinct 7, Putrajaya. It was constructed in 1998 at a cost of RM283 million and began operations in stages on November 1, 2000. Initially, HPj had 278 beds, which increased to 341 beds in 2012 with the establishment of a Low Risk Maternity Center in Precinct 8. As of January 2018, the hospital officially operates with 369 beds.[1]
Future Developments[edit | edit source]

This extension will enhance the hospital's capabilities as a tertiary referral center for endocrine diseases, including diabetes and hormonal disorders.[2][3]
