Robert Heptinstall (1920–2017) was a renowned British pathologist and academic, best known for his contributions to the field of renal pathology. He served as the director of the Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University and authored the seminal textbook Heptinstall's Pathology of the Kidney.
