Roni Milo (born 26 November 1949) is an Israeli politician who has held several key positions in the Israeli government and local government. He is a member of the Likud party.

Roni Milo was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He attended Tel Aviv University, where he studied law.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Milo began his political career as a member of the Likud party. He was first elected to the Knesset in 1977.

Ministerial Positions[edit | edit source]

Milo has held several ministerial positions throughout his career. From 1986 to 1988, he served as the Minister of Police. He was later appointed as the Minister of the Environment from 1990 to 1992. In 1993, he became the Minister of Health, a position he held until 1996.

Mayor of Tel Aviv[edit | edit source]

In 1993, Milo was elected as the Mayor of Tel Aviv, a position he held until 1998. During his tenure, he focused on urban development and improving public services.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Roni Milo is married and has children. He continues to reside in Tel Aviv.

Legacy[edit | edit source]

Milo is known for his contributions to the development of Tel Aviv and his various roles in the Israeli government. His tenure as Mayor of Tel Aviv is particularly noted for significant urban development projects.
