Royal Challenge is a brand of Indian whisky, manufactured by United Spirits Limited (USL), a subsidiary of the British alcoholic beverages company Diageo. The brand was first introduced in the year 1980.

Royal Challenge was launched by Shaw Wallace in the 1980s and was acquired by United Spirits Limited (USL) in 2006. The brand is a blend of Scotch and Indian malt whiskies.
Production[edit | edit source]
The whisky is a blend of Scotch and Indian malt whiskies. The Scotch that goes into Royal Challenge is imported from Scotland and the malt whiskies are aged in charred oak barrels for an extended period of time.

Royal Challenge is available in more than 60 countries worldwide. The brand is especially popular in India, United Arab Emirates, Canada, and South Africa.
