Sean Conley is an American physician who served as the White House Physician from 2018 to 2021. He is best known for his role as the personal physician to Donald Trump during his presidency.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Sean Conley was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Conley then went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Medical Career[edit | edit source]

After completing his medical degree, Conley served in the United States Navy. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia. Conley has also served as an emergency physician in various military medical facilities.

White House Physician[edit | edit source]

In March 2018, Conley was appointed as the White House Physician by then-President Donald Trump. He succeeded Ronny Jackson in this role. As the White House Physician, Conley was responsible for the medical care of the President, the First Family, and other senior officials.

COVID-19 Pandemic[edit | edit source]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Conley gained significant public attention. In October 2020, President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID-19. Conley provided regular updates on the President's health and treatment, which included the use of experimental therapies.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Sean Conley is married and has children. He continues to serve in the United States Navy.
