Skeet Ulrich (born Bryan Ray Trout; January 20, 1969) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles in popular 1990s films such as Scream and The Craft. Ulrich has also had notable roles in television series, including Jericho and Riverdale.
Early life[edit | edit source]
Ulrich was born in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was raised in Concord, North Carolina, by his mother, Carolyn Elaine Wax, who owns a special-events marketing agency, and his stepfather, D.K. Ulrich, a NASCAR driver and team owner. He attended Northwest Cabarrus High School and later enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study marine biology. He subsequently transferred to New York University, where he was noticed by playwright David Mamet.

Ulrich's first significant role was in the 1996 film Boys. He gained further recognition for his role as Billy Loomis in the horror film Scream. The same year, he appeared in The Craft, a supernatural thriller. Other notable films include As Good as It Gets (1997), The Newton Boys (1998), and Chill Factor (1999).

Ulrich's television career includes a starring role in the post-apocalyptic drama series Jericho, which aired from 2006 to 2008. He also played the recurring role of FP Jones on the teen drama series Riverdale from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, he has appeared in series such as Law & Order: LA and Into the West.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Ulrich has been married twice. He married English actress Georgina Cates in 1997, and they have twins, a son and a daughter, born in 2001. The couple divorced in 2005. He later married actress Amelia Jackson-Gray in 2012, but they divorced in 2015. Ulrich was engaged to model Rose Costa in 2016, but they ended their engagement in 2017.
