- South Blooming Grove is a village located in the town of Blooming Grove, Orange County, New York, United States. The village, which is located 55 miles north of New York City, is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.

- South Blooming Grove was incorporated on July 14, 2006, and is one of the newest municipalities in the state of New York. The village was created out of the town of Blooming Grove.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- The village of South Blooming Grove is located in the southeastern part of the town of Blooming Grove. It is bordered to the south by the town of Monroe.
Healthcare Facilities[edit | edit source]
- South Blooming Grove is home to several healthcare facilities. These include:
- Orange Regional Medical Center: This is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), 383 bed hospital with the only Emergency Department in Orange County that is a designated Level II Trauma Center.
- Crystal Run Healthcare: A multi-specialty group practice offering both inpatient and outpatient services. They have over 400 providers in over 40 medical specialties and more than 30 practice locations in the Hudson Valley and lower Catskill region.
- Middletown Medical: A multi-specialty physicians' group. They offer outpatient clinical services in several locations throughout Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties.
