St. Luke's Hospital (New Bedford, Massachusetts)

St. Luke's Hospital is a hospital located at 101 Page Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1884 by the Protestant Episcopal Church with financial contributions from Horatio Hathaway, a church leader who was one of the founders of Berkshire Hathaway. In 1996, St. Luke's merged with Charlton Memorial in Fall River and Tobey Hospital in Wareham to form the Southcoast Health System.

St. Luke's Hospital offers extensive in-patient medical and surgical services, with expertise in neurosurgery, cardiology, and general surgery. It has 293 beds in service and provides advanced diagnostic testing, including computerized tomography scanning, MRI, and nuclear cardiology. Rehabilitation services are also available on-site.

According to HealthGrades, St. Luke's Hospital has received mixed ratings for inpatient conditions and procedures. Some ratings were worse than expected, while others were as expected or better than expected. Patient safety indicators were generally rated as expected or better than expected.
