- Stutsman County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 21,128. Its county seat is Jamestown. The county was created in 1873 and later organized in 1883. Stutsman County was named for Enos Stutsman, a frontier lawyer and legislary.
