Tenoxicam
Tenoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to relieve pain and inflammation in various conditions such as arthritis and gout. It works by reducing the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammation and pain.
Mechanism of Action[edit | edit source]
Tenoxicam belongs to the class of drugs known as NSAIDs. It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins.
