Tishreen University is a prominent public university located in Latakia, Syria. Established on 20 May 1971, the university has grown to become a key institution for higher education in Syria, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various fields of study. Tishreen University is named after the Arabic word for October, commemorating the October War of 1973.
