Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol

Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol is an autonomous region located in the northernmost part of Italy. It is composed of two provinces: Trentino and South Tyrol (Alto Adige in Italian, Südtirol in German). The region is bordered by Switzerland to the west, Austria to the north, and by the Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto to the south and east, respectively.

Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol is characterized by its mountainous terrain, being part of the Alps. The region is home to some of the highest peaks in Italy, including the Ortler Alps, which reach a height of 3,905 meters.
