  • In 1914, it merged with the Los Angeles College of Osteopathy, culminating in the College of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
  • By 1961, it was recognized as the California College of Medicine.
  • In 1962, it transitioned its degree offering from DO to MD.
  • In 1967, it was acquired by the University of California, Irvine, and formally became the UC Irvine School of Medicine.
