Vanessa Rosalia Marquez (December 21, 1968 – August 30, 2018) was an American actress. She was best known for her role as Nurse Wendy Goldman on the television series ER and as Ana Delgado in the film Stand and Deliver.

Vanessa Marquez was born in Los Angeles, California. She developed an interest in acting at a young age and pursued her passion through various roles in television and film.

Marquez's career began in the late 1980s. She gained recognition for her role as Ana Delgado in the 1988 film Stand and Deliver, which was based on the true story of high school math teacher Jaime Escalante. In 1994, Marquez joined the cast of the popular medical drama ER, where she played Nurse Wendy Goldman. She appeared in the series from 1994 to 1997, becoming a familiar face to the show's audience.
