Vera Brezhneva (born Vira Viktorivna Halushka on February 3, 1982) is a Ukrainian pop singer, television presenter, and actress. She is best known for her work as a member of the girl group Nu Virgos and her subsequent solo career.

Vera Brezhneva was born in Dnipro, then part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Union. She grew up in a working-class family and showed an early interest in music and performance.

Nu Virgos[edit | edit source]

In 2002, Brezhneva joined the popular girl group Nu Virgos, known in Russian as ВИА Гра (VIA Gra). The group achieved significant success in the CIS countries and became one of the most popular female groups in the region. Brezhneva's tenure with the group lasted until 2007, during which time they released several hit singles and albums.

After leaving Nu Virgos, Brezhneva embarked on a solo career. She released her debut solo album in 2010, which included hit singles such as "Любовь спасёт мир" (Love Will Save the World). Her solo work has been well-received, and she has continued to release music and perform across Eastern Europe.
