Victoria University of Technology (VUT), now known as Victoria University (VU), is a public university located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is a dual-sector tertiary institution providing courses in both higher education and Technical and Further Education (TAFE). The university is known for its strong focus on research, community engagement, and providing educational opportunities to both local and international students.

Victoria University of Technology was established in 1990 through the merger of several institutions, including the Footscray Institute of Technology and the Western Institute, with a history of providing education dating back to the early 20th century.
