Warren County is a county located in the central part of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, the population was 40,453. Its county seat is McMinnville. The county was created in 1807 and named for Joseph Warren, a patriot in the American Revolutionary War.

Warren County was established on November 26, 1807, from a portion of White County. It was named in honor of Joseph Warren, a physician and general in the American Revolutionary War who was killed in the Battle of Bunker Hill.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 434 square miles (1,120 km²), of which 433 square miles (1,120 km²) is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²) (0.3%) is water.

As of the 2020 census, there were 40,453 people, 15,000 households, and 10,000 families residing in the county. The population density was 93 people per square mile (36/km²). The racial makeup of the county was 93.5% White, 3.2% Black or African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.5% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 2.4% from two or more races. 4.5% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

The economy of Warren County is diverse, with significant contributions from agriculture, manufacturing, and retail. The county is known for its nurseries and is often referred to as the "Nursery Capital of the World."

Warren County is served by the Warren County School District, which includes several elementary schools, a middle school, and Warren County High School.
