Yasovarman I was a prominent ruler who reigned as the King of the Khmer Empire from 889 to 910. He succeeded his predecessor, Indravarman I, and was later succeeded by Harshavarman I.
Reign[edit | edit source]
During his reign, Yasovarman I made significant contributions to the development and expansion of the Khmer Empire. He is credited with the construction of several important temples and structures, including the Bakong temple, which served as the state temple of his capital city.
