Zieve syndrome is a rare syndrome that happens in people who abuse alcohol.
Triad[edit | edit source]
It has a triad of symptoms: hemolytic anemia, cholestatic jaundice, and transient hyperlipidemia
Diagnosis[edit | edit source]
Clinical history of ETOh abuse, and the triad of symptoms in a setting of elevated bilirubin, no GI bleeding.
Treatment[edit | edit source]
Alcohol cessation.
