Zingerman's is a community of businesses located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The original business, Zingerman's Delicatessen, was founded in 1982 by Paul Saginaw and Ari Weinzweig. Since then, the Zingerman's Community of Businesses (ZCoB) has expanded to include a variety of food, hospitality, and service businesses.
Zingerman's Delicatessen[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Delicatessen is the original business in the Zingerman's Community. It is known for its wide selection of artisanal cheeses, traditionally made breads, and cured meats. The deli also offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, and specialty foods.
Zingerman's Bakehouse[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Bakehouse is a bakery and baking school that produces breads, pastries, and other baked goods for the Zingerman's businesses and for retail sale. The Bakehouse also offers baking and cooking classes for the public.
Zingerman's Creamery[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Creamery specializes in making artisanal cheeses and gelato. The Creamery also offers cheese and gelato making classes.
Zingerman's Roadhouse[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Roadhouse is a restaurant that serves regional American foods. The menu changes seasonally and features ingredients from local farms.
Zingerman's Coffee Company[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Coffee Company is a wholesale roaster supplying cafes, restaurants, and businesses with freshly roasted coffee. The company also operates a coffee bar and offers coffee tasting classes.
Zingerman's Mail Order[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Mail Order is the business that allows customers from around the world to order Zingerman's products for delivery.
Zingerman's Service Network[edit | edit source]
Zingerman's Service Network provides centralized services such as human resources, finance, and marketing to the Zingerman's businesses.
Zingerman's Community of Businesses[edit | edit source]
The Zingerman's Community of Businesses (ZCoB) is the umbrella organization that includes all of the Zingerman's businesses. The ZCoB is committed to the principles of quality, service, and sustainability.
