Alexandria University
Alexandria University is a public university located in Alexandria, Egypt. Founded in 1938 as a branch of Fouad University (now Cairo University), it became an independent entity in 1942 and was renamed Alexandria University in 1952. It is the second oldest university in Egypt and has played a significant role in the educational, cultural, and scientific life of the country and the Middle East.
