All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur (AIIMS Gorakhpur) is one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS Gorakhpur is located in the city of Gorakhpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It aims to provide high standards of medical education and is an institution of national importance, as per the AIIMS Act of 1956.
