Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute
Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), established in 1955, is one of the premier medical institutions in India. It is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). BMCRI offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in various medical and paramedical disciplines, making it a pivotal institution in the field of medical education and research in the country.

The college was inaugurated in 1955 by the then Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. B.D. Jatti. It started with a modest intake of students and has since grown into an institution of national repute. The college was initially affiliated with Mysore University, later changing its affiliation to Bangalore University and, eventually, to RGUHS.

The BMCRI campus is situated in the heart of Bangalore and houses several departments, libraries, hostels, and hospitals.
