The Bankstown Lidcombe Hospital was established in 1996 following the amalgamation of the Bankstown and Lidcombe hospitals. The hospital has undergone significant expansion and redevelopment over the years to meet the growing healthcare needs of the local community.

The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including emergency, general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, rehabilitation medicine, and intensive care medicine.
