Cagayan State University (CSU) is a public university located in the province of Cagayan, Philippines. It is one of the leading institutions of higher learning in the region, offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Cagayan State University was established through Presidential Decree No. 1436, signed by then-President Ferdinand Marcos in 1978. The university was formed by merging two existing state colleges in Cagayan: the Cagayan Valley College of Arts & Trades (CVCAT) in Tuguegarao and the Northern Luzon State College of Agriculture (NLSCA) in Piat. Over the years, CSU has expanded its academic offerings and established additional campuses throughout the province to cater to the educational needs of the region.

CSU operates eight campuses across the Cagayan Valley region, each with its own specialization. The main campus is located in Tuguegarao City, which houses the administrative offices and the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, and Information Technology.
