Customs broker
Any person granted a customs broker's license by the Secretary of the Treasury. Often located at ports, they prepare and submit documentation for obtaining clearances for cargo shipments to and from the United States obtain clearance from government agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Fish and Wildlife Service.
