Danielle M. Dick is a prominent American psychologist and geneticist known for her research in the field of behavioral genetics. Danielle M. Dick was born in the United States. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Virginia and earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her doctoral research focused on the genetic and environmental factors influencing alcohol use disorders.

After completing her Ph.D., Dick joined the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she is currently a professor in the Department of Psychology and the Department of Human and Molecular Genetics. She is also the director of the College Behavioral and Emotional Health Institute (COBE) at VCU.
