Edna Krabappel is a fictional character from the animated television series The Simpsons. She is voiced by Marcia Wallace and first appeared in the episode "Bart the Genius". Edna is the fourth-grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School, where she is known for her cynical and jaded attitude towards her students and her job.

Edna Krabappel is depicted as a disillusioned and lonely woman who often smokes cigarettes and drinks alcohol. Despite her tough exterior, she has moments of vulnerability and shows genuine care for her students, particularly Bart Simpson, with whom she has a complex relationship.
