- Elko County is a county located in the northeastern corner of the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2010 census, the population was 48,818. Its county seat is Elko. The county was established in 1869 from Lander County and named after the city of Elko.

- Elko County is the fourth-largest county by area in the contiguous United States, covering an area larger than the U.S. states of Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island combined. It is bordered by both Utah and Idaho.
