Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 4 Gamma (HNF4γ) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HNF4G gene. This protein belongs to the hepatocyte nuclear factor family and plays a critical role in the development, function, and regulation of various tissues, primarily within the liver and intestine. HNF4γ, along with other members of the hepatocyte nuclear factor family, is involved in gene expression regulation, cellular differentiation, and the maintenance of epithelial integrity in these tissues.
