Hg's monte cristo sandwich (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Lay one slice of bread flat and spread with mustard. Evenly top with half of the turkey, followed by the ham, cheese, remaining turkey, and remaining slice of bread. Slice sandwich in half diagonally.
  2. In a wide bowl, stir egg substitute with pepper.
  3. Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat. Add butter and let it coat the bottom.
  4. Evenly coat sandwich halves with the egg mixture and place in the skillet. Cook until outsides are toasty and the cheese has melted, about 2 minutes per side, flipping carefully. Yum!. )
