Highland (council area)
Highland is a council area in Scotland, known for its vast and rugged landscape. It is the largest administrative region in the United Kingdom, covering an area of 25,656 square kilometers. The region shares its borders with Moray, Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross, and Argyll and Bute. The administrative headquarters of Highland is located in the city of Inverness, which is also the largest settlement within the area.
