Jeffrey Ross Gunter is an American dermatologist and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Iceland from July 2, 2019, to January 20, 2021. He was appointed by President Donald Trump.

Gunter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He later pursued a medical degree and specialized in dermatology.
